Funny thing about that incident. I was closer to the front of that pack. Ox and Cheese were immediately in front of me. I look back in my mirror and no one is behind me at all. I start slowing down waiting to see if anyone appears and there is nothing for at least 30 seconds. Thinking the worst, I turned around and headed back to see what was wrong. Ox and Cheese also turned around and followed me. As we are coming down a hill I see a cop with his lights on next to a guy pulling his bike out of a ditch. Cheese immediately turns around and heads to the rest of the group in front of us. Ox and I ride up to see if the rider in question was ok and we get pulled over.
The phone call happened shortly there after. All of us ended up being let go with verbal warnings. The kid who crashed saw the cop behind him and when he pulled over, he went right off the road!
After we were let go and caught up with the front of the pack who were waiting for us on the other side of the mountain road, DucDave had taken his yellow riding suit off and was in his shorts. He managed to walk by my bike and put his calf right against my exhaust pipe and ended up with a large burn.

Holy crap! I was on that ride! Didn't some drunk or drinking cruiser-type guy stop at the bridge with us and hung out for a few?

Didn't we all end up meeting again as me pete and a couple others were getting pizza? I want to say it was in Plymouth near the school?
Was this the one with Mike (Ahtune) leading where he left us at some intersection to look for the other group?
There were load of bi-cyclists that day and we were 30+ bikes screaming in and round Sherborn-Natick area. A cop showed up while we were waiting for Mike, he got off the car and started “Who is the leading here …” we all looked at each other and said "he left us", the cop laughed and told us to tune down.

I remember that. First NESR ride for me. Showed up on the Harley and everyone was like. Ended up dragging pipes and my kick stand keeping up with the group I was with (I think we split into 3 groups, I believe Degsy was leading the group I was with). 17 was crazy on the Harley. When we got to the highway Degsy was said "lets ride back on the highway like a bunch of douch harleys in formation....ah, I didn't mean it like that, lol"
I also remember a group ride with Tomato where we stopped at a gas station. Some crazy dude with a deer head (freshly shot) was there and Tomato pick it up, held it over his head, and asked for a picture while it bled on him.
Or another one up in VT. We were flying and thought we were untouchable because we had a radar detector. Well, we passed a statie going the other direction. He caught up with us and ask "do you know how fast you were going?" I said "honestly, I don't know" He said, "Me neither, buy you were fucking flying". So, sitting on the side of the road while he wrote us up someone asked "how much is the ticket in VT for fucking flying?" Haha.

That's right, back to a 2 cylinder, 3 cylinder, and a 4 cylinder.
You raped the shit out of the 883 that day!
That was also the same day that I was riding behind Clayton on his KLR and I was laughing out loud in my helmet at him trying to catch up with the guys in front of us on the long straights. In the corners his knobbies were dancing and sliding all over the place. It was a blast to watch!

No really he knew what he was doing. however his buddy on an r6 was trying to learn how to wheel not so much. Like 2 minutes into riding with them we looked at each other said hes gonna toast it sure enough 30 minutes later he rips it up pegs the tail and jumps off he was fine but his bike was toast.

Hope all is well down yonder!
Went down to deals gap last year for the r1 forum convention with devil1. There was this huge ride down to atlanta where we were supposed to meet up with chuck graves and then hit up blood mountain on the way back. The ride took forever and was almost all highway. It was hot as fuck, too. We ended up getting stuck in a ton of traffic, so needless to say, we were all really ready to hit some curves by the time we got to blood mountain.
We all filled up and lined up at the light. Light turned green and chuck punched it...unfortunately the guy in front of him was not as fast to go and chuck rear-ended him. Tire kissed him so hard it bumped his bike forward and stalled the guy. Chuck just rode right around him.
I guess once a racer, always a racer.

Eric (ejlemo) has a habit of hitting the kill switch on peoples bikes while at a stop. I remember one time we were on a ride with a few guys and he came up along side dave (lone wolf) and hit his switch and then took off. It took dave like a minute to figure out how to start his bike. I guess he never used his kill switch.![]()

Last year, I was on this big ride. About 26 of us, the w.ma crew met up with everyone else in keene at Margaritas. We're all sitting in the back room at this huge table.
Kid comes in "Are those your guys bikes out back?"
Us "YEAH, why?"
Kid "You are all getting tickets right now"
You never saw so many guys move so fast. That meter maid practically shit herself when she saw all of us come running out, fully geared up.
I thought maybe there was an issue with us being doubled up in the parking spots...nope. It seems that nobody that arrived before us notice that you had to use the meter on saturday, so there was no time in them. I guess we're a little smarter in the western part of the state, because we had put money in our meters, so only half the group got tickets.![]()

I was riding with Damnut, Firebolteric, and Ducxl and I was having fuel problems (turns out I was getting water in my gas tank). The bike would run for a little while and then die, then run then die and it was pissing me off.
Ask either of them to discribe what happened next (the NEBO dance).

Ya I was behind degsy (he was on his 999) I was on my sv1ks and we were screaming down these back roads at 3x the speed of death. I glance over my shoulder expecting to only see a couple bikes behind us. I had to do a double take because the bike that was directly behind me was ClaytonOriginally Posted by ZX-12R

I can resist everything but Pete's mom.
.....on a barbie colored KLR650....with a milk crate strapped to the back. Pretty sure I embarrassed everyone that day.
Ox managed to hit my kill switch while coming back down the nice section of Rt.17. We weren't stopped. I shook my fist as hard as I could at him. This resulted in nothing.
Another group ride (the one where some crazy guy ran out into the road) the ZRX felt kinda wobbly while we were droning along. I looked back and there was Joel on his TL1000 with one hand on my passenger grab rail.
Stopped to take a break on a early season group ride out to Mt.Greylock off Rt.2 on some twisties. Oreo decided to take the KLR for a rip up and down the road while we were resting. Takes off and spools it up in first gear. Reaches redline. Still no shifting......more redline. Still no shifting.....comes back and says "I thought it rev'd higher than that!". We were all standing on the side of the road yelling SHIFT! SHIFT!.
That very same ride, some guy we didn't know too well decided to depart the group on the way down Greylock. Didn't tell anyone. As it's getting dark and half the group is looking for him while me, Trackdog and Bump sat in a parking lot in case he went by, Gary decides to give the KLR a rip up through the hairpin of Rt.2. Then decides to take it down a questionable trail. Then across a stream. Came back half an hour later, turns out he never thought of any issue while going down the 4' embankment into the stream that he'd have to make it back up that embankment.....in the dark....on a strange tall bike.....with short legs.![]()

Ride up through the Kanc with KB, Jenn, Mike and Jay. Blasting through Lincoln, cop coming the other way. Misses Jay, Mike and KB. I get tagged with 51 in a 35. Then we go swimming in the river on the Kanc at the covered bridge. KB decides to drop trou in the middle of the river. Takes a leak with his wiener hanging out. Just then we see the tour bus full of old ladies taking pictures from the bridge.
