hmm... good riddance
I would rather have motorcycles without drama.

bring back the biker build off!
All strippers SHOULD have fake tits!
He posts on the HAMB forum occasionally. Can't find the link, but he posted what looked like a new "how-to" type show pilot. He said it didn't get picked up. Who'd want to watch a show about a guy building stuff anyway? No fights? No drama? No Jersey sluts. TV is a waste.

About time. A friend of mine bought a bike from OCC( That he could not Register in MA)and a few years back he planned a ride from MA all the way to where ever those Jackasses were located. They rode all day in the rain and the OCC crew did not even shake the guys hand. Off with that shit show.
Bring back the Build off.
anyone miss junkyard wars? or am i alone with that statement
I miss it, but I don't miss the way the teams were forced into builds based on a pre-determined concept that the production company decided upon prior to the start. I would have preferred more build time, no "experts", and nothing pre-conceived. Just a task to accomplish, a shitload of useful used parts, a shitload of tools, and two groups of "Tricky Mike like" guys with plenty of time to design, build, test, and refine.
I miss Robot Wars/Battle Bots too....
Sanford and Son was also quite the hoot.
Support the Troops! (Except for Mondo, that guy's a dick)

From the comments section:
I agree. But just once, just once, I want to see an episode of This Old House where they all lose their sh*t with each other. Norm probably has a special tool for kneecapping a co-host.

In similar news, Norm's "New Yankee Workshop" also got the axe after 21 years on the air.
From the website:
What's Happening at The New Yankee Workshop
Posted on 01/01/2010
Sadly, for the first time in 21 years we do not have a series of regularly scheduled TV broadcasts of New Yankee programs to offer our fans around the country. We are still trying very hard, amidst the economic downturn, to find some underwriting support to continue providing repeat programs on Public Television. Even though the programs are available to the stations at no cost, we must raise thousands of dollars to process the programs and to broadcast them on a public network. We are hopeful an underwriter can be found and we will let you know if we are successful.
