I'd have to respectfully disagree that motorcycle-specific GPS units are "rip offs". Mine has weathered some rather nasty storms without fault, and delivers overall performance that more than meets the needs of my (mostly) road riding.

To repeat what garandman has asked (and more), which m/c specific units have you used, what does BMW have to do with it, and what makes you say those things?
