Heres a condom. I figured since youre acting like a dick, you should dress like one too.
tell me what is the risk, the plug fails, the tire goes flat again, big fucking deal, you have yo pull over to the side of the road and put another plug and air in the tire or, a cord breaks and you get a bubble in the tire and it starts thumping, then I will agree, it's time for a new tire, been there, done that on both accounts.
whatever happens, if you crashed, it's your own fucking hamfisted fault for panic. a flat from a plug failure is no different than the original flat from the screw
btw, why are you paying $150 for tires, I can get them for $30-$60 less

what if you happen to get a defective new tire ?
if you worry about "what if" then what to fuck are you doing riding a motorcycle, seems like you should be the boy in the plastic bubble
I get tires at my local dealer about $35 or more cheaper than SWmoto's online price

I'd get a new tire. With that being said I rode on my OEM tire plugged (same method you used) for a few thousand miles without issue. No leaks, no issues at all.
If you've got the scratch get a new tire. If not ride that one out till you do.
A standard plug that you would use on a car tire?? Ok if you use the thing strictly to commute in city like driving. Probably not much more than having a proper 2" dia. internal patch with vulcanizing rubber cement. I have heard people have used those on the track. By the time you figure in the labor its probably more sensible to buy a new tire. Especially if that one shows significant wear.
if you have the money, get a new tire and sell me that one.
it all depends on your confidence level of the plug. my past 3 tires have all been plugged in different lean angle paths across the tire. If youre not comfortable with it, then youre going to ride more rigid, think about the plug & not the road and put yourself in more danger...

while riding on a plugged PCIII rear ..... the tire heated up and the (properly installed) plug just oooozed out along with the air.
I was bummed as it was the first and last time I will ever get the chance to ride with the infamous RICH W ........ master of doing 55 thru a small town twisty 4 way intesection when the posted limit is 25. the switchback was fun but seeing the mom and her 2 kids stop short as we rolled on by was .....
riding on a flat isn't that big a deal as long as the bead doesn't break. then you fk'd
