What the hell is wrong with Freddie??

I am watching AMA Prime Time Race at Road Atlanta and Freddie Spencer sounds stoned or drunk! He is mispronouncing rider names, like Miguel Duhamel, etc.. He's not making sense.

yeah, i agree. he does seem a little off -- slurring speech a bit, sort of trailing off without having made any reasonable point.

i think lee diffey cut him off once, not quite sure what's going on.

maybe he's tanked after celebrating the news about his induction to the louisiana sports hall of fame?

Anyone know how old fast Freddie is? I`m a nurse caring for older veterans and see lots of stuff like this. I hope I`m not right about this because I`m a big fan. Could be meds or worse IE; Micheal J Fox, Muhamed Ali, etc. Scary how many of us picked up on it huh?

He sounded a bit shaky for sure. He's not the best announcer on a good day and this was a bad day.
