Best way to sell a bike ?

Just wondering what experiences you guys got with selling bikes ? Should I put it in the news paper , want ad , or something online like cycle trader .com ?? ? I need to sell the bike soon , because april vacation is coming up and I'm planning to make a trip to florida or viriginia beach by bike and really don't want to tour with my Savage. So , any help is appreciated .

I just sold a couple of bikes using the getamotorcycle.com classifieds, and by posting on forums like this one and "the other" New England one. Newspaper ad sucked - cost$$ and only a couple of calls. I do think that in terms of paid advertising that the want advertiser would work well.
