Hey guys! I am planning on picking up my sv650 I have been looking at for a while, but the guy I am buying it from is making it extremely dificult to get it to my house!
I want to pick it up tomarow (Monday 10/11). I was wondering if someone could help me by riding it to my house for/with me. Basically I don't want my first ride on my new bike to be on the highway or busy back roads from Watertown - Melrose! Its my first bike since my accident, so I am a bit nervous.
Let me know if you think you can help? I am home all day Monday.
If at the end of the day you can't find anyone to help ya I think I could give you a hand. Watertown is a pain in the ass to get too, but i live about 2 mins from you.
So like I said if no one else can do it I can give you a hand with it
Vawn, I dropped you an email.

I'm off tomorrow too. I can ride it back or we can load it in my truck. PM me if your other options fall through. A bit off topic, but you don't sound to confident in your riding skills. Have you done the MSF course?
Yea I took it last year. I just know I dropped my first bike in my driveway first day! and I ended the season by slipping on black ice and totaling the bike. That was a GS-500F, this is a 650, not much difference, but the roads from Watertown to Melrose aren't really the best to start out on for your first ride for the season, not to mention on a bike you have never ridden.
Thanks for the concern though. I highly recommend the MSF course to everyone!
Anyhoo, it would seem I have found the ride I was looking for. Thank you all who offered. Its amazing, I have learned more about bikes here, and made more friends to ride with here, in the last not even month that I could all last season..... I forget the forum I had joind then but they weren't this friendly.
Thank you everyone.
Enjoy the new bike man!
Sweeet bro, post some pics of the new ride.
What time is all this gonna happen? I work in Chelsea and live in Wilmington. I get out of work at 3:30 if thats any help to you? PM me if you still need help picking it up.
Congrats on the new bike. If your ride falls through, I work right down the street from Watertown, so just let me know.
If you can pick me up I'd be happy to ride it from the old owner's place to yours. Any night after 5:30 (I work in Woburn). I'm very familiar with SVs![]()
