Just throwing it out there for now.
I bought a bike over the weekend, and may need some help getting it from there (Woburn, MA) to here (Blackstone, MA).
Still waiting to hear back from a friend who has a truck and ramps, but I just want to have other options lined up just in case.
I'll pay for gas and give you some beer or something.
Thanks in advance.

PS: It's a 2003 SV650s before y'all ask.
I might also be able to help you out
when where you planning on picking it up?
I live in Peabody right near Woburn, I'd love to help you out just let me know when.
I got truck and tie downs but no ramps. But 3 guys can pick that thing up and hoist it in there.
If all else fails, Lean more....
I have a truck, a ramp, tie downs, and I used to live in Blackstone. I would be more then happy to help on Sunday. Let me know.
Huh... you live in Linwood? I work in Whitinsville. Sorry, just random.

It's nice to see that even though it's been a long time I've posted anything, or that I'm not on here often; when I do ask for help, people are quick to jump in and help a fellow rider. Guess that's why I started riding in the first place - because it's a great little community.
I'm still waiting to hear back from my friend; if I don't hear back today, I'll try to arrange something with one of you guys.
Thanks,
HP

Actually... NESR = a bunch of crooks... I just had a vision of my new motorcycle strapped to the back of one of your trucks... as you start driving away in the opposite direction.
I think I might be all set - trying to coordinate with someone who has to pick up another bike, so we might try to coordinate it so we can both get the bikes picked up.
If anything changes, I'll let you guys now.
HP
well if you still need it, then it sounds like you have a couple guys to help you lift.... errr... pick it up
It's good to see that "Why not just get a few guys and lift it." is still going strong here on NESR... y'know, along with the gh3y jokes and 2g1c postings... weirdos.
HP
i can't beleive nobody said it before, this post is a perfect setup for it...
Congrats on the new bike too, My wife has one and they area blast to ride, get ready to do some suspension work though, their one weak area IMO.
I can help you if other people bail. I have an open trailer, ramps, grand cherokee.

Thanks everyone.
The bike was picked up today thanks to bergs!
And just for fun, here are pictures (these are from the dealer):
Alright... so is it riding season yet?![]()
Watch out for bergs, If he says spirited pace, he means We are gonna go fast for 90% of the ride and then maybe slowdown for the other 10%........
ok ok maybe 80% of the ride!, oh and watch out for dirt roads......
you bastards..... Ill never forget "winding dirt roads next 10 miles"fucking vermont.
nice bike congratulations!
I'm gonna pick up one of these:
And probably a tinted Double Bubble...
Yeah, those are good places to start... I just want to ride the darn thing.
HP
Yeah, this is one really clean bike.... and it had better be seeing how there aren't any miles on it!
Definitely and sweet find!
But what was really sweet was your "test ride"....you know, BEFORE you signed the paperwork......when you ripped that one-handed wheelie into a rolling burnout right past the dealership and the salesman was standing outside! His jaw dropped (as did mine) when you came back around in a heel-clicker and set up the longest stoppie I'd ever seen! That had to be 100 feet or more!
Dood that shit was sooooo SICK!! All done in flip flops and a tank top.
You are one crazy bastid!
R1slowflyer-Keith, hey man, can't say I didn't warn ya!
I never told you about the ride with EZrider later that summer. We went exploring and decided to say "eh, fuggit" to this one dirt road.........which eventually became a logging/ ATV-ing trail. I wish I had my camera! Pretty funny to see two FZ1's literally in the middle of the woods on some dirt path.
Congrats.
