Finally there's some exhausts on the market that I actually like and are decent quality. I really like both exhausts and I'm having a hard time deciding. It's between the Akra Shorty and the M4 shorty for a 2006 GSX-R 750.

If this was your decision i'm curious to know whiat you would decide and why. Thanks guys.
It would be a slip on.
Not considering the Taylormade? IMO the best looking exhaust for that bike.
Gotcha, in that case I would go with Akra. Always loved their stuff.
It seems like more people own the Akra over the M4. I'm also leaning towards the Akra.
Wow that shorty is new, I haven't seen that one yet. I thought the newer 600/750's were like mine, the standard race mount...or the GP, which I'm not a fan of. I don't really like the can barely sticking out of the lower fairing, but that's me. Old school I guess.
So I am a bit biased, and I had an M4 on my 01 750 and I had absolutely no problem buying another for the 1000. I've never had a problem with them, the quality is excellent and if you can get a standard race mount like mine, you can get the titanium or stainless mid-pipe.

Yea Slyder the M4 exhaust is brand new, it just came out like 6 months ago roughly.
M4 doesn't seem so popular but quite honestly I'd put them right along side Akra, Ti Force, Yoshi Japan (USA stuff sucks). If you want a power increase, Leo Vince full system. They knock the piss outta the rest it seems.
The little bit larger akra looks better in my book.
Either way, they're both gonna be friggin loud.
JCbell had the Akra on his gixxer 6. It did sound wonderful but damn was it loud.
I think the verdict is in. Akra is the winner!!! Thanks guys.

When I start my KTM in the morning, rules are broken. Its inevitable...

can't go wrong with either one really. I've never personally had an Akra system, but they seem to be top quality.
I have had M4 in the past and been very happy with them.
Looks like the exhaust is on hold for a little while. Washer broke last night!
