    Help me decide on exhaust

Finally there's some exhausts on the market that I actually like and are decent quality. I really like both exhausts and I'm having a hard time deciding. It's between the Akra Shorty and the M4 shorty for a 2006 GSX-R 750.

If this was your decision i'm curious to know whiat you would decide and why. Thanks guys.

It would be a slip on.

Not considering the Taylormade? IMO the best looking exhaust for that bike.

After doing some research on Taylormade Exhausts I discovered the quality of it is not so good. Lot of people complained about the exhaust falling apart. I was originally going to get one until a lot of people started complaining about quality issues.

Gotcha, in that case I would go with Akra. Always loved their stuff.

It seems like more people own the Akra over the M4. I'm also leaning towards the Akra.

Re: Help me decide on exhaust

Wow that shorty is new, I haven't seen that one yet. I thought the newer 600/750's were like mine, the standard race mount...or the GP, which I'm not a fan of. I don't really like the can barely sticking out of the lower fairing, but that's me. Old school I guess.

So I am a bit biased, and I had an M4 on my 01 750 and I had absolutely no problem buying another for the 1000. I've never had a problem with them, the quality is excellent and if you can get a standard race mount like mine, you can get the titanium or stainless mid-pipe.

Re: Help me decide on exhaust

M4 doesn't seem so popular but quite honestly I'd put them right along side Akra, Ti Force, Yoshi Japan (USA stuff sucks). If you want a power increase, Leo Vince full system. They knock the piss outta the rest it seems.

i would love to get a pair of these for my SV1K and have them mounted similar to the GSXRs and R6s (underneath)

can't go wrong with either one really. I've never personally had an Akra system, but they seem to be top quality.
I have had M4 in the past and been very happy with them.
