Need help finding a race suit.

So I'm in the market for a new 1pc race suit & I'm looking for a top quality suit at a bargain... last years models, lightly used, etc. I've been scouring the WERA board & various online retailers but any help is welcome.

Alpinestars, Dainese, Spidi, Teknic, MotoGP/Berek whatever. Looking to keep it under 500 bucks if I can, but if I find a 1500 dollar suit for half price I'll jump on it.

I'm about a size 40us/50 euro. (5'9", 165lbs)

I keep seeing the ads for Pilot Custom Suits in the back of my Sport Rider magazines. They advertise a custom suit for $700. I have no idea of the quality of the suit but it is an option.

Pete I know you're considering a new suit, but I have the same brand suit as you and one of the seams blew out in June.... Roberto did an amazing job fixing it. It could be a quick fix for you while you look for a killer deal on a suit and you won't feel like you're under the gun...

I appreciate it, but I'm lookin to go new. The leather on my IXS tore right open from the top of my thigh clear around to my hip in my easy get-off in 3 and that part of the leather didn't even touch the ground. I just don't trust that leather anymore. Can't complain all that much, I paid CHEAP money for it & it's been through 4 crashes now.
