Dear EX250 Rider,
I salute your willingness to ride during a 32 degree night with nary a electric vest or heated grips in sight. You appeared to be cold due to the way you were shivering at the stoplight. Keep it on two wheels frosty friend.
Sincerely,
The Guy in the Tacoma buying Tostitos and Salsa

I saw a dude on a cbr f4i out the other night when I was leaving the gym... he was riding in jeans.
I'm not sure whether to congratulate him or not, he was either the man, or retarded.

I saw about half a dozen staties going north on 93 this morning on their baggers with the lights going. Looked like they were escorting some busses, not really sure what that was all about.

Thanks Richie.
I had some old timer come up to me today and ask if I'd "lost my ass yet". I said "No way!".
Somehow that response opened the door to story time and I got to hear about the time he was riding on ice and his Harley landed on him....somethin'.....somethin'............

Same here. I got out for about 85 miles on my XR650L on Saturday. (Tried out my new heated vest -- awesome!) The only roads that looked icy/slippery were the dirt ones, so I stayed off those, but otherwise no problem.
I did have to give the bike a good rinse off when I got back into Burlington though. Lots of salt.

Pussys, when I lived in woburn and work in the fenway, I used to ride year round. Split lanes to the carpool lane, then cut over to the leverett connector to the brakedown lane onto storrow, bang at work 20 minutes. In the car 1 hour.
Some days were pretty hairy ice under the bridges on storrow and shit. You become aware of every obstacle on your route just as you notice the dark V after the alligator strip in T3 showing you the line. I knew where every pothole and pavement change and patch of ice was.
Cool shit riding with heated grips, vest and a V Twin in the cold.
