Help: transfer title from ME to MA

I've purchased a small dual-sports from ME, it has a 223cc engine.

According to the previous owner, anything motorcycle under 300cc is not required to get title. He only has some registration with his name on it.

What do I bring to RMV to get it title in MA?
would the bill of sales and registration be enough?

my first bike was from maine. it was last registered in 1990 (?). and at that time, maine didn't require title reissues, or something to that effect. with the last registration and a bill of sale, i was able to reg it in MA, and get a title.

the bikes an '88, and it took place in 2006. so i think you're in good shape. expect some scrutiny from the person behind the desk at the RMV, but when they calls they're boss, they'll get told its ok! (at least thats what happened to me!)
