Squids not wearing gear when they go down do affect us...

Insurance goes up, and more importantly health insurance costs keep skyrocketing because we had to mediflight you after a 5mph getoff...

I think its simple; you have a right NOT to wear helmet (and other gear) BUT you void your health insurance Maybe even make it a tiered system based on what gear you are wearing... Jeans and rash up your legs; you pay that portion OR the health insurance will cost more because you are adding "no helmet" to your policy. Put your money where your mouth is

This past weekend on Sat I saw a lot of people riding in worcester with out any gear
1. It was hot as hell
2. cool factor - summer nationals was going on.

Well as i was preparing to go for a ride i was debating on wearing my gear or just riding in shorts and a T -shirt...which i never do.

I decided to suck it up and put the gear on. Well good thing because less than 5 min after i left my house a woman who wasnt looking struck me coming out from a stop sign. Granted it was at low speed and i was lucky to move my leg in time, but having the gear on made the crash to the pavement a little better than if i was in shorts and a T. I walked away with a bruised knee and ankle.

I will never second guess wearing my gear again, now that I have had first hand experience!

He is trying to make her jealous. She could approach it three ways. The first way which is the route she took is get all mad about it and solve nothing. The second and third way is to dress up like this girl. You could either go on a nice ride together and you could tease him the entire ride and get him worked up and take care of him on some romantic spot along the route or you could go on a ride with him and his friends and see how cool he thinks it is when he friends get a peak.
