Found great deals on both these helmets and I'm undecided which one to get? Which one is considered the better helmet?
I really liked my RPHA-10 when I had it. It got warrantied because of an issue I was having with the visor sealing properly. I would definitely buy another. I liked it better than my shoei qwest.
Never owned an rs-1 but they are supposed to be nice helmets.
I've had a couple rps-10/rpha-10s and I love them. Can't see myself getting anything else....unless I was offered a free arai.
Just keep in mind, if its an RPS-10 it has to be at least a year old as this year they switched the name to the RPHA.
LRRS #313
My favorite helmet in the world and quietest best fitting is the Shoei X-12. Love it

Bell has transitional shield that changes based on how dark or light it is...
I have been wanting to try out the RPHA-10 for awhile now but haven't found a shop that stocks the spies replica.
Wonder how it fits compared to my shoei rf1100? I have tried other lids and so far shoei is the only one that fits my squash
Now Lorenzo has the mamba design and I would rock the shit out of that style if I could find it.

The RF1100 and RPHA-10 fit very differently. Before I got my head measured and fit by an Arai rep (which I would totally buy if I had $650....) I was rocking a medium Shoei. It never fit quite right. When I put the small HJC on, it fit like a glove.
FWIW, I got the RPHA-10 for 306 shipped. I believe the replicas are going for about 375 shipped. If anyone wants a link to a great ebay seller, let me know.

Funny, I tried a HJC FG-17 and Shoei RF-1100 back to back and thought they fit me the same. Both mediums. I currently wear a HJC FS-15 and have tried the RPS-10 on, but wasn't really paying close attention to the fit at the time. I know it wasn't immediately uncomfortable like Scorpions seem to be for me.
What's the difference between a bolt and a screw?
First you screw, then you bolt.
