    holy hell of a day

Thinking today would be a nice quick day of work followed by a quick trip to the track to pick up my new track toy... WRONG

Left work late due to stupid crap, got lost trying to pick up the ramp i was borrowing. Uhaul completely f'd up my reservation, went from waltham to Brighton, guy at the Brighton store tried to get me to rent a 10' box truck and return it to natick... told him to f off and he followed me out of the store telling me to take the box truck. Finally got the only f150 in the area in malden. 3 hrs after we should have left, we are finally on the road. Stopped by the bank to withdraw the money for the bike, guy hands me the receipt for the total amount and hands me 365 bucks... only short around 1700 lol.

Luckily everything after that was pretty uneventful. Bike is chilling in the basement with a ton of spare parts just waiting to hit the track

Friend of mine down south is having simular problems with Uhaul...they're trying to save money by having the customers act as fleet transport drivers. Couple years ago they made me pick up a moving van over an hour away from where I needed it..20 minutes outsice NYC. I had to rent a car to get to the place to get my rented van...

Not to defend any Uhaul staffers but I'm astonished you could rent any sort of truck on "Move In Weekend."

Just shows how weak the economy is. You used to have to reserve one six weeks in advance.

I also can't believe you were able to get a truck. A co-worker just moved to a new place in Boston and had to go to RI to get a UHaul. Damn students flooding Boston.

could be worse. you could be trying to figure out the torque specs and installation instructions for a slip on exhaust for a CBR

Little duct tape (i have some hot pink or green), some super glue and a 6 pk and she'll hold for about 10 minutes or your first bump... whichever comes first

Nice jab but we can't all know everything otherwise there would be nothing for you more experienced people to do to show off your uber knowledge.

It wasn't a jab at you, but at the shit show that occurred.
Stop taking things so personally. The correct response would have been

Nope nothing that any one of you has said has "gotten to me" or "gotten under my skin". I have been posting back partly because thats the type of person I am, I have to fire back if you are going to give me shit, I won't take it, I won't run and hide, get over it

I really have no idea why you guys are focusing so much of your time on me, surely theres something else you could be doing rather than wasting time right?

I have found that the only way to get past all of this is to ignore every post about me and let you guys go on thinking I am such an important guy that you must all have the last say.

Sorry for the thread hijack this is the last I will be saying...

    Enjoy your holiday weekend everyone
