It looks like HRC are going back to a rounded nose. It seems like they waffle back and forth every few years, pointy, round, pointy, round.

Wow, look at the way that pipe snakes around under the tail section. But, at least this thing has a tail section.
...and is it just me, or do the fairings on these bikes get smaller and shorter every year?
I wonder what the aerodynamic benefit of increasing the low pressure area on the side of the bike is.

it already looks better than the '07 bike

Could be. But aerodynamically I don't think that's more efficient. And it seems to me that the side vents on the regular full fairings
worked well enough to extract the heat.
Now the apparent trend with Honda is to continually move the rear edge of the fairing as far forward as possible, exposing an ever growing engine area and creating a larger low pressure area.
The mystery contiues for me.

I think the design initially is to make it look like the
bike they have to sell on monday! After this aero concerns
will take over as testing continues.
What I have to say is who allows Nicky to wear these
outragous boots ! Its like that guy in Slaughter House Five!

The boots are a tip to the ladies...
Here's another shot...

THere's no ram air system on the bike. Perhaps that has something to do with the open sides?
In this image it looks like an NSR50! Must be the 16" wheels...
