    Honda CBR 250

    anyone hear any info about these yet?
    curious when they're selling in the US and what's the retail on them.

    Haven't seen one in person, but I was under the impression they were already for sale in dealerships. MSRP is $3999. Reviews vary from 'okay' to 'great,' but most were done in comparison to the 250R.

    Heard they are slower than the Ninja and Hyosong 250's.......
    In the UK they sell the Yamaha YZF125, looks superb (as 250's go) I reckon they will be in the US soon to keep up with Kawasaki and Honda... You looking for one? Not wanting to jump on the bandwagon, but to coin an NESR catchphrase, maybe you could use all the power!!

    You made it sound like you meant the 125. And I don't know if they'd make a 250 version just for the US, considering Yamaha would probably price it somewhere around $5-6k and make it irrelevant to the demographic.

    I was thinking one thing but typed another! I think it would be easy for them to do and markets dictate the pricing, obviously they would have to be competetive. They have all the ingredients from previous models and with the cost of living etc ever increasing, these little bikes will become very popular (IMHO) Maybe Jim is onto something!!

    I used to ride two up on a tired 11hp (at the crank) 1980 CM200. That CBR is down right peppy in comparison.

    I saw one at a dealer last week..in Norway! Very cool looking and has the look of a full sized sportbike. I actually thought it was a 1000rr until I looked real close.
    The coolest looking little bike I've seen so far is the Yamaha YZF R125

    Nope, that was a Derbi. This one has a title and came with the crank, head, jug, and piston to turn the 50 into an 80. As well as other spare parts.
