i just saw somebody mention 180hp for the new R1. WOW!!!
At the crank, rear wheel HP will be similar to the Gixxer1k, nothing new.

I'd guess the yam/honda/kaw will be tooth and nail over who can be the most stupid fast you can't possibly handle all this power you should need an insurance policy just to look at it literbike in 2004 , and the gix will probably just have to settle for being a stupid fast you still can't handle all this power 4th place liter.
Yup, guess I will have to buy a 2000-2003 ZX-9R. 130HP...I will take comfort over power. New bikes are good for posing, but I like to ride long distances without searing back-pain.

The Gixxer 1000 has 160-165 at the crank.

    I think?

The new 2004 Yamahas are now listed on their official webpage:

    http://www.yamaha-motor.com/products...cy&cid=5&mid=6

Some new cruisers, a new R1, and a FZ6. Nothing too exciting, although the R1 does look very sweet.

I think they do that so you don't notice all the dirt and crap that gets chucked up from the road. Both my zx6's had dark colored lowers, which is good since I don't really wash the bikes...
