Both Weymouth and Bettencourt's are good dealers for good customers.
Be clear on your objectives. If you want to buy the bike for the lowest OTD price and do most of the maintenance yourself, then you're basically buying an appliance and you should shop price only.
If you want to develop a relationship, buy parts and get good advice, buy based on where you feel most comfortable and a few hundred bucks won't matter.
The trouble is that everyone wants both, lowest OTD price and red carpet service later. It's not reasonable.
I'm a Weymouth Honda guy for 14 years and many bikes, but I've bought parts and supplies from Bettencourt's as well and always found the to be nice as well.
Neither of these dealers are big-time flashy showroom operations. Both of these dealers thrive on long term loyal customers who value the relationship.
So to find out whether the dealer will give me good service or not, I will have to buy the bike myself & experience that myself. Thats why I asked for people's opinions & experiences about different dealers.
I will go and talk to both BettenCourts and Weymouth myself and see their responses.
I asked for quotes though and BettenCourts has quoted me higher price than Weymouth.
Lets see how it goes.
Thnx everyone!
I wouldn't bring it to a dealer for service anyways. . .
not all of us are mechanically skilled though.

I would say Weymouth over Bettencourts, simply because Weymouth gave me a better deal on the exact same type of bike and saved me quite a bit of money.
However, I have nothing against Bettencourts on a whole.
DIY > private garage > dealer
What were the quotes that you got? were they otd? Is either one building in fees that the other isnt?
Ive changed oil for several people in the parking spots of there rental's. As long as you don't make a mess no one has said anything. If you sell motor oil you must take used oil back. Please tell me where I said anything about a dealer being bad? The reason for not going to a dealership if your willing and able to do it yourself is rather simple. Cost, don't you work in a dealership no one needs to tell you the cost differences between simple maintenance being done yourself or at a dealer.
