I will wait until someone throws theirs into the weeds, and then I will buy it. Then I will spend way too much money rebuilding it, to the point that I could have bought a new one cheaper.

This bike is a photchop of a current generation VFR... the side plastics are exactly the same.
This particular shot is a year or two old at this point.
I think everyone thinks SOMETHING big is coming from Honda in a few months. I don't think anyone denies it, these rumors have been flying big time.
The three top rumors are:
- Race Replica RC211V V5 1000cc, expensive and insanely fast
- 1000cc 7th gen VFR, possibly a V5.
- 1200cc V5 that replaces both the retired blackbird and the VFR.
There's been tons of speculation...
Frankly I think it is mostly likely just going to be a 1000cc VFR, or another 800cc V4 VFR, but with a better VTEC system and maybe lighter weight.
That'd be my favorite personally.. use the VTEC to make a 130hp 800cc bike or something, with excellent fuel economy, and lighten the thing.
Actually what I wish they would do is just move that massive 6 gallons of fuel lower on the bike so it didn't affect handling so much as the fuel burns off. That is quite noticeable on mine.

amen to that. 3/4 of a tank while sitting at a stop and the bike sways back and forth with all the fuel swooshing around.
I wouldnt doubt they would produce this bike seeing the direction all the new bikes are going. If they do, i cant wait to see the other factories answer's to it.![]()
Ducati wuz pimpin' a street-version of the desmosedici sometime in 2006 or so....for an estimated 60K. 60K?
It'd be a pretty unruly bike on the road though.....
I'd expect Honda to roger up and do something similar....so it may eventuallly be more than photochopped marketing, eh?
