I asked the seller....here is his response.

Dear jphair1,

You noticed, most people don't even know what a basic racer is. This bike was imported with a few others like it from Honda HRC by Sato Racing and and 4 of them were shipped to a riding school in Las Vegas. Three of the bikes were sold to a student and the fourth one was used as a static display in the classroom, all four of the bikes had flat black body work and no passenger cushion and because the school was sponsored by Honda they thought it best to change the body work to look like a Honda and carry the sponsors decals. The bike made it out to the track only a few times for some instructor laps. Thats where the bike sat until the school closed down, and it was moved to a garage where it sits now. This bike cost around 12,000.00 to import. It is a steal, I take it down the street now and then and it's fast, will run circles around other 600's. On track day just warm up the tires and have a blast on this one! I have been on stock 600RR's on the track and the basic racer will out run and out corner most any of the track day bikes. Thanks for the question.

I thought Freddy Spencer ran out of Miller...although, come to think of it, he had a connected course in the SW. I guess that makes sense. Wow...if true, that's a steal. His school didn't last more than a season as far as I know.

Even if it is a factory "race only" bike and has no title , it should still have a MSO - Manufacturers State of Origin. Sounds sketchy at best........
