    You're going to have to be VERY dialed in if you want to ride well in London. I spent a week there and I was amazed at how congested and insane the city was. TONS of motorcycles and scooters though, and they split lanes VERY well (and also cut it VERY close).

    Pff.. riding in London / the UK is a breeze (so long as you get the side of the road you're on right). Try Paris or Barcelona for true insanity. There's a reason all over Europe, motorcyclists are in FULL GEAR every time they ride, sport riders wear full leathers nearly all the time. There's a TON of fun bikes you can pick up over there for stupid cheap.

    I was only in england for a week but I didn't think it looked bad at all. There is some good congestion ya but mostly low speeds as well

    Licence wise you will be ok. What may really bite you in the ass though, is insurance. Look into that asap.

    Riding wise, I came from the south west - some fantastic stuff to be had Devon/Cornwall way
