They pushed back the release date for the RR.Each dealer will get two bikes in March.The rest will be shipped out around May. I wounder how much money Honda will lose due to this,seeing how everone else allready has there new line out by the time U can get one.Look's like I have to wait till May now to ride

They're no different than Yamaha. When the new YZF R-1 came out in 02' my friend had place his order early for the black & silver and was promised delivery in March. He didn't get his bike until the end of June. As long as people are willing to pay the price this will continue go on.

Motorush.com CBR 600RR Forum , CBRWorld.Net General CBR Chat. It seem's that a dealer out in the Mid-West has gotten a Fax from Honda saying that the release date hes been pushed back. Other people have posted that they hear the same thing. Two bike next month the rest will be there??????????

I have been following the CBR600RR release dates and the latest news from www.Motorush.com is that the delay is for selected dealers. A person who goes by the name of mistersixtynine says that he is a dealer and was going to investigate the alleged delay. Check out his post as of this morning here .

I am going to Best Cycle in Nashua today to inquire about it. I hope I can elicit an informative answer. I don't have much faith in this though. Ya, know...........typical dealer bullshit.

I went to Best Cycle yesterday and they reasured me that the original ship dates were still in place. Time to go back to Best and talk to Craig. Maybe I can get him to cut through the bullshit and come up with an honest answer.

Who know's what is going on with this bike.Now people are saying that they have to Honda, and Honda says it is not for every dealer. Call your Dealer I guess.

Honda finally updated its website with new availability. No mention of what the production issues are yet though.

And the release was only updated to indicate april when dealers only get a single red/black RR in april.
