I remember telling you somewhere that what the insurance company considers your bike to be worth will likely be much less than what you owe on it. Even if you only had it for a few months.... bastard's arent' they....![]()

Hmmmm..
I'll get $10,600 if I total mine....This is what the Insurance Co. values it at. Granted, it's a '99 TLR Bus, and maybe it's because I pay a shitload more $$$ for it huh?....But it's covered...No hassels if I get into a bind like you guys...Been there done that....
I look at it this way, if it's stolen or totalled, I get it replaced no dicking around, and I pay $800.00 a year for this.
my premium is over $800 too. what's the option for no hassel?Originally posted by TLRMan

I have the bike appraised for the amount they see,(and me) fit...add the rims etc. Because of my experience, and no claims made since christ was a baby...I am not a big risk to insure like you are...
If I didn't have the extra on it, it would cost me about $550.00 a year...Plus you probably have a dickhead for an insurance agent...
I don't,...and no, I'm not giving you his name.....
not asking for name. im a stranger in a strange land. just wondering if there's an extra option i dont know about.
isn't insurance thief anyway? why would it matter to steal from a thief?
"fuckit!"
I had the bike reappraised....So the value is worth more...You just gotta pay for it..
but the laws r diff here cause of the ass holes that crash for $$$$
thats y i got a lawyer
make sure you get whats due
