That's actually not true... perhaps you should look at some sport tourers. Every bike that directly competes with the VFR has a SSS.

Note your race replica Kawi which is no longer competitive, does not magically become a sport-tourer. It is still a race replica. 10 years ago sport tourer might have meant "race rep which is no longer competitive" but it doesn't mean that anymore.

I think icon did a great job styling with their jackets, most of them at least. If they hold up well in a crash I'd consider picking one up.

there is no safety standard like helmet. i dont think the designer would just throw thinks together without thinking about the usefulness. so you wouldn't know till you try.

i like the new icon pants if only they make it my size and that is xs. i think it's better than jeans.
