So Ken, how much ya got, total, in $-U.S. in Sparkle and Tech-Farkle on that bike? No need to gather invoices, just round it off to the nearest 5K.
THIS I gotta hear. I mean, how much could it BE?![]()
It's in the multiple thousand dollar figure of course. Just like you think nothing of dropping several K's on a new bike.50 lobsters anyone? Those were yummy last year at leafs party!
Oh, shit, yeah, the lobstah party at Chris', beer-pong and stuff. I figured, who remembered? I hope Spence & Co. ate the rest or set em free out on the Cape next day, I never heard..
Yeah, I dropped a couple of bucks on the C-14. But to be fair, the only Farkle for the C-14 was the trunk, a radiator grid-guard and loud Strebble horns. Oh, and brighter bulbs. Oh, and a leather tank bra. New helmets. Yeah, the shit adds up, don't it?Anything for bikes, I guess.
What's the old saying? Hundreds of thousands on cars and broads and bikes? The rest, I squandered..![]()

Nice upgrades Kenn, enjoy them. I swapped my stock bars on the 650R for LSL Superbike bars + ends, made a world of difference. Keep up the good work!
On a more serious note though, at this point, you're getting dangerously close to having built your own all-new bike from the ground up. Give Erik Buell a call, maybe you guys can tool up something together...
I do have Race tech springs up front now. GSX-R600 rear shock ($50) such a deal!
Yep. 8987 Triple. That was during last year's 20% off special, if you did both the shock and fork internals at the same time. The shock retails at $1200.The shock should have come with a guide. It has a troubleshooting section that has different adjustments for different situations.
