$49.95 for a bulb replacement sounds possible. kits are closer to $150 and over

I don't know people. Those look pretty decent to me. And for $50 I'd give it a try.

H7 is a standard Halogen bulb anyway. It's what my CBR takes.

$49.95 is the price of a pair of Sylvania SilverStar Ultra bulbs.

    Re: HID for bike

that price is accurate - quality HID kits are significantly cheaper these days.

i've got a pair of DDM's in my bike, had them for almost 2 years now with no problems. paid $130 for a dual bixenon H4 setup.

That's the kit I just installed on my Tuono... effing love it. It's only a single bulb though.

I got the 55w kit though for 50 shipped. Search the web, a LOT of people like the DDM kit.

I have them for my cbr and love them, the company is located in california so it takes about a week to get them. Worth the wait and money!

    Re: HID for bike

I have 3 sets of DDM kits.. varying from the oldest at 3 years.

One of my ballasts just went bad, and it is covered under a lifetime warranty that I got. $17 to cover shipping and they'll replace them. The rest of the components for the 3 kits are awesome and have been working like a charm ever since. I do believe I paid close to $100 for each of them, so $50 is a total steal!

    Re: HID for bike

I've recommended these same HID's for multiple people many many times. They are great i absolutly love mine. Ask anyone in the VT Bike night thread how bright mine are, i run dual 55 watt 6000k DDM tuning HID's on my zx6. They are blindingly bright and i wouldnt trade them for the world. Do your brother a favor buy the 55 watt and not the 35's, they are not much more expensive and well worth the money. If you want a pic (or if someone here does) i'll dig up the pic i have. By the way, i got both for under 130 and i couldnt be happier.

kawiforums, and zxforums highly recommend DDM tuning, and i do too! Great price, great product, great idea!!

EDIT: That is one HID and one stock bulb. I now have dual HID's high and low beam. I LOVE THEM!!

Don't make the same mistake as me. I bought a cheap hid kit off of ebay. Broke after 6 months. Went back to my silverstar bulb.
