I Hope everyone in NH Is Ok.. if anybody needs any help please ask! I myself am offering what ever help I can..

Here are a few pics of my Favorite road into Keene, Route 123 , sections of roads were washed along with an unoccupied house and two bridges!

It sucks...Some of the roads that Mzdagrl and I were riding Tuesday are gone too..
Its hard to believe that it could happen here..

I was on 123 yesterday from peterboro to townsend, the road is in it's normal condition

floods were in alstead

I was in Springfield for a wedding on saturday, ride back on sunday via Rt 202 & 123 was nice, only a few sprinkles

only highways with lot of traffic & pavement were bad on saturday, most of heaviest rain was during the night, worst thing saturday was water comming off tires and puddles

I drove through Keene this morning, they were picking up the sandbags and scraping mud and debris out of parking lots in downtown.

I think part of rt. 119 between Winchester and Hinsdale got washed away as well, because that stretch of road was closed down.

123/10 from Gilsum to Marlow was washed out as well. Route 9 from Keene to Stoddard as well.
To many roads to count from what I understand. Hinsdale is currently a island, all bridges connecting are unsafe. Alstead had to evacuate there PD, I wonder if they had anyone in lock up?

this is all president BUSH's fault---if we didn't have troops in Iraq then NONE of this MADNESS would have happened!

AND I DON'T WANT any crappy free deli platters and water--I DEMAND grade A top quality cheeseburgers and coke! + I don't want to have to pick up after myself--someone from another part of the country should do it--POOR ME!!!!!!

I'm pretty close to the "disaster" area, I'm sure I could be eligible for one of those debit cards with like $500 on it for food and clothing.

We need at least $30 billion for the releif and clean up effort, and not a penny less!

Maybe if you went out + stood in the closest puddle + held up a sign demanding help while someone took your picture you could get some free stuff!!!

Holy shit, is that the center of Hinsdale in that pic? Is that east or west of where 63 intersects 119 by the ice cream place, I'm just trying to envision exactly where that is. :O

Nevermind, that IS route 63, where it comes over that little bridge and ends at the gas station on your right, and the little ice cream place straight ahead of you. Damn, that really sucks, I love that stretch of 63.

I've been told that 123a is gone.
Now that was a great road!!
I drive by that first bridge everyday!
It was part of a great double apex tire-warmer-upper!
I'm going to miss it...
