I know it is a new model, are these garage queens where you have to maintain the heck out of them just to keep them running?
Or are they Honda/Yamaha/Suzuki and other jap bike reliable?
I think I am going to do a very bad thing ...![]()
dont know.
my 560smr is a "garage queen" by your definition... but so was my yamaha 450F.
The service manuals (basic one) should be on the KTM website. check online to see what the maintenance intervals are... i bet you need a valve check every 5 hours or so if its like the other SMR's... its not hard on these machines... but it must be done.

It says every 10k km or 6214 miles ... or 2 years, which ever comes first ...
If that is what it is, I can live with that.

i'm picking mine up monday. and i don't care about no stinkin intervals. it's gonna be a blast.
go ahead. do a bad thing.
Some new owners report not a lot of snap off the bottom? I suspect that's due to smog concerns, which should be easily rectified.
