I did some measurements when I was looking to upgrade the KTM's Brakes... Even moving the rotor away from the hub a bit to steal a little extra room there was still a BIG clearance problem with the parts bin stuff I was measuring (Tockico, etc...). I wouldn't want to try to file that much material. It could be milled in a snap, but I ended up being a little sketched out about not knowing how much material I was working with... I wouldn't want to machine a caliper and unknowingly only leave a thou or two of metal on the back side of the pistons (I try to keep turn 3 in mind whenever I think brakes) Unlikely, perhaps?.. I dunno.
