Just had my bike f-ed with

So I just went down to the underground garage I store my bike in and see that somebody fucked with my bike and my buddies. Nothing horrific but bent the license plate to hell, turned and bent in the mirrors, took off my tank bra. They also messed up my friends saddle bags and put his bungees all over the place. It doesnt seem like all that much but I am straight up pissed off. I know sportbikes are fun to look at and you want to touch, but I work really damn hard to be able to even afford mine and stuff like this makes me want to kill or horribly maim people. That is all.

Sounds like it was probably some kids. I had the same thing happen when I was living in the city. It was these two little kids "playing" unsupervised in the garage.

Deffinately does sound like kids...that's really to bad man, sorry to hear it.
We gotta figure out a way to *mildly* electrify our bikes when we're not near them. Anyone who comes up and touches it gets a small shock...man I need to invent and market that idea.....hahaha.

(1) get one of those proximity / tilt alarms. if it was kids, and prolly was, that would prolly be enough to scare them off.

(2) get a bike cover. people are less likley to randomly fuck with a bike if they have to uncover it first.

(3) any chance the garage has security cameras?

(4) I had a bike stolen about 1.5 years ago. i feel your pain. if point 1 -3 dosn't help, get shotguns.

Definitely no cameras in the garage, I already checked that. I did at least let the cops I saw walking around know about what happened so maaaaybe they will keep an extra eye out. I plan on getting a cover and most certainly a 12 gauge. How hard is it to get a gun license these days seeing as how our vp can't even be trusted with one?

Bike cover with a lock works the best .... I mean how many times do you pass by a covered bike ... you don't even notice them because theres nothing to look at
