Left or Right Handed

At my last TD in Jersey the guy at the gate noticed I was left handed and commented that about 50 to 60 % of the people at trackdays seem to be left handed. So I'm just curious if this is true.

He might be wrong , but it was an interesting observation since most of the population is right handed.

Seven to ten percent of the adult population is left-handed. I got that info from the net. So far 38% of motorcycle riders on this site are lefties. Why?

Cause this isn't any where near a scientific sample of the population. Hence polls on motorcycle forum should not be used for any research in higher education. But then again I think we cleared that up a long time ago.
