My little girl's x-mas present

wow, what a great gift.

i bought my own bike at 16... about the same time my father got back into riding after after a 16 year hiatus. ever since than we found a passion we both share and have been alot closer than most father son duos i know. the shared adventures and time has been worth every bone i've broken. it's awesome that you would do that for your daughter. most parents would never even consider letting thier 19 year old "little" girl anywher near a motorcycle. (when i was a teenager alot of girls parents banned them from even being picked up for a date when i was on my bike.)

Well, she has seen it and sat on it, and she is just ecstatic! After checking all of the vital fluids and tire pressures, I took it for a short rip last night. Wow. What a lot of fun! It pulled my 198 lbs just fine so I can imagine that it will pull her petite little body along quite well.
I tried to get her to pose on it so I could get a pic up, but she refused...for now. Then I showed her this site, and this thread. Then I had her look at JRO's "Present" thread to get her interested in getting involved with this site. She was very interested in the whole thing and though she did not sign up yet (she had *somewhere* to go, like all teenage girls), it seems like All Systems are GO!
I am really looking forward to spring, and spending some quality "Bike" time with her. I hope that we can get away for a couple of adventures as soon as the winter breaks.

I grew up with lots of horses and let me tell you, motorcycles are better for the sole reason that they dont poop constantly. Yes. I was the muck-out king.

Im thinking of getting my girl a 250 this coming summer, Jenn, when you ride it your first couple times, let us know what you think! It would be good input for my lady.
