Now that you've tracked down the failed part you need to track back through the system and figure out why it failed. MAP sensors, O2 sensors, etc. Something in the fuel injection wasn't working right, and caused the cat to get plugged up. Cat converters don't just die - they are usually killed...
well i replaced the plug. i "assume", rout cause of my problem according to Honcliffer, sensor problem would lit up the FI light.
the converter could be crapy and could be melting. doesn't look like it thru the end hole. someone pointed out it happened before. :dunno:
as for the injectors, im just gonna run cleaner throu it now and then.

a drop pipe
b get bar of iron
c smash ceramic till it pours out the pipe end
d reinstall and be happy
e) now that we're old timer, we just replaced with after market.

maybe i'll just poke it thru and see... a friend of mine did it on his 7R stock pipe and man... it was loud and annoying.

Might be a little harder on the ZX10's cat. It looks like a rolled corrugation made of Ti.
