Local (Boston Area) Ram Mount or Alternative Dealer?

Would like to look at a few of the options for mounting an iPhone and Garmin Zuma to a motorcycle -- in person. I am familiar with the Ram Mount product, but am open to alternatives. Does anyone near Boston stock this stuff?

    Thanks.

Someone once told me that marine supply stores (ie West Marine) had good selections. That info must have been old though as my local store had positively nothing and the clerk gave me the "whut dat" look.

So far my only good source has been the 'net.

I'd highly recommend their X-grip for your iPhone.

I bought all my stuff from Amazon.

Thanks to both. Have been looking at the Ram X-mount. I was beginning to suspect that online was more less the only option. Looks to be the case.

I have the x-grip as well. Bought it after several recommendations here on NESR. I agree, it is great. Holds my phone very securely on the bike.

    I think I bought mine through GPSCity.com.

    Whitehorse gear online
    Or the trusty amazon.
Any motorcycle shop that regularly orders from tucker rocky can get them too. I honestly think ram makes an iPhone specific mount.

I have a RAM mount for the Zumo and keep the phone in the top of my tank bag, I can see it and charge it and its waterproof.

Ended up shopping online and getting the Ram X-Grip, a mount that hopefully works with the streetbike and a mount for the car. Should be able to switch back and forth with little effort. X-Mount seems well made and sturdy, which is no surprise given the feedback in this thread.

Also bought the Burns Moto USB power supply: http://burnsmoto.com/usb-power-socket-weatherproof.php

Next, to break out the heated gear and hopefully prolong this riding season.

They do. I had theirs for my old 3G. Perfect fit.

But the catch is the case. No fitted product is going to work with a case. Hence the popularity of the X mount. I bought that one for my 5 (with case). I like it, but I haven't used it too much either. Still nervous about an expensive device riding shotgun.

If you have a plastic case the X mount works OK. But it makes me nervous. My friend has a rubber case on his galaxy and it's rock solid. I opted for the ram mount IPhone specific case and mounted it that way. they both work.
