According to my GPS I was only going 55....

i had a glitch in my speedo too.... it indicated 146 while making a pass of six cars... but i swear I couldnt have been doing more than 55

Yeah, who's the guy w/ the GSXR w/ the 2 Bro's pipe again? I got a chuckle when we were on the highway, he was in a full tuck and i passed him while sitting straight up w/ my hand on my hip.

We were also both doing 55... but I was going about 20mph faster.... so I was probably goin more like 55 rather than 55.

even if I were to speed, I wouldn't be too specific about posting real numbers here.

of course, we all know how much everyone exagerates...and that on top of notoriously optimistic speedos, makes any number poste here suspect.

That ain was odd just when it was raining the hardest it just stopped, which was good because I really didnt want to be soaked through

Think it stopped cuz we got onto the other side of the mountain. From what I could tell the air was moving up the mountain & the moisture was gettin squeezed out of it. Once we started going down the other side I think it stopped.

Wow! You've got a fast bike! If you extrapolate the shifting speed chart in my motorcycle's owner's manual, you will see that my bike has a top speed somewhere in the 40mph range.





P.S. Just make sure to clear the "max speed" variable that Garmin GPS receivers like to store.
