I've been searching for a mint condition 85-86 GSXR 750, or 86' 1100 for the last year or so. I've looked at 5 or 6 and they are all 50-75%.

Very willing to pay top dollar for a 90-100% clean stock example. I bought new in 1986 a GSXR 750Ltd I would sell my sole and left nut for. One sold in auction last year with low miles for 8k$. I would have bought it in a second.

Willing to pay a 10% finders fee if I buy it.

Help a brother out.

12/19/06: Japan and UK only red/gold '86 GSXR750R

I'm looking to sell one of my two 1986 GSXR750R Limited Edition motorcycles. I originally imported the motorcycle from London and is the factory gold and red (sold in Japan and the UK only). It is definitely a one of a kind limited. Since buying the bike, I have not ridden or serviced it so it will need tires, battery, tune-up, etc. I'm in the United States, California, and am asking $9,500.00 I guarantee, you will not find this bike in these colors, ANYWHERE! Haha nope. Mine isn't a pretty bike, just goes fast. In the process of repainting and redoing it this winter..so it won't be original, and also has 17 inch rims instead of the 18 inch that came stock. Much easier to find good rubber for a 17.

Thanks, when I first saw the bike a few months ago, I thought it may have been my old one... but no such luck.

I went and looked at it. It has a huge amout of miles, over 20k. No history, a lot of missing or wrong parts, and no spare parts for the dry clutch. The clutch alone if you can find parts for it can run over 3k$.
Argo wants $7,000 for it. I offered them 5k$ but they didn't take it.
