I was at Nault's Manchester last week and there is a 2002 CBR954 for sale downstairs in the used bikes area. It has all of about 2 miles on it - that's right 2! Some squid bought it drove out of the parking lot on spankin' new tires, down the street 1 mile, then back 1 mile and dumped it (apparently right in front of the dealership!). His girlfriend made him take it back and now there she sits..
Naults has replaced the left side parts that took damage except for the scrapped engine cover and left side fairing. There is a small scrap on the bottom corner of the swingarm and also where the little swing-arm stand spool is.
They have it there with a price of $7500...
Great buy, considering the leftover 2002's that they have are about $10K. Also, this one has already been down so no worries about scratching it![]()
I wish that I could consider it, but too much expense right now with the wife being at home with the kids - I'm not able to take on any payements.
Later...

If you like them my buddy Louie is trying to sell his mint 2002 954 right now with a nice LEO high mount and the targa tail as well. I'll get a pic for you......he'll take 8000. Was asking 8500. A good deal for quick sale. Be right back with a pic!

As I said, those are indeed sweet, just can't take on any additional debt right now. Thanks for the pics though, maybe someone else here will decide to turn in their Tiller for nice Honda 4.

I dont know but it isnt going to be MY RC51!!! He'll get the itch again in the spring when he isn't in need of extra $. No way he'll go bikeless again next year. Happened for a time once before and it sucked.

Blccccchhhhh....been down THAT road before too. Hadta sell my TWO Quad Racers & all my gear just after I bought my first house. Went without from mid-way that summer to spring the next year. That's when I made the jump to the street though, so it was all good in the long run...Originally posted by GuntherRC51

Did you grit your teeth and try to look like Clint Fuckin' Eastwood?
Or did you lisp it all hangfisted like a fuckin' flower?
Yeah, Jay. Remember my red RF900 - sold it when I bought the house! The good thing is that bikes just keep getting better and better, so losing one is not too bad because we know that whatever we might get later will be more power and better handling! Although in my case I went from the 95 RF900 to a 87 VFR700, then to my current 90 VFR750...someday I will be getting a very nice upgrade though. I am thinking maybe this spring as a present to myself for finally earning my engineering degree!![]()
