Thats right looks like it rattled right of my plate holder
Anyone know what the deal with that is at the registry?
Do I need to pay a full payment of new registration or what?
Anyways, was on cruising on 24 today from stoughton to weymouth, I have a funny feeling it might be there.
Thanks
-Chris
you have to pay the full payment for a new plate.no big chicken
tell em it was stolen and they might, but i doubt it, give you a break

How much is a new plate, I hate that dam rmv website I just can't seem to find anything on there ever.
i think it only like 30-50 bucks
but to be safe bring a lot of money take the day off and pack a lunch. then go to the dmv

ya probably should.....
or maybe some one could just punch me in the face when I walk through the door that way I won't have to worry about waiting in line (lil' dane cook reference)
Go find it!!!
I tried!!! and gave up, guess Im not that ambitious on finding out how much money I have to shell out for something I already had![]()
ahhh..... just make one out of cardboard and see how long you can get away with it![]()

you'll want to call that plate in stolen asap.
plate was stolen off my car at a mall, called the plate in stolen. And some punks apparently attatched it to a stolen car of the same make/model (just different color).

The same thing happened to me coming up on Route 3 in N. MA
I went and tried to find it but nothing. So in NH i just went to my DMV paid 4 bucks and presto it was set. In the meantime i called my town told them it was stolen and put a cardboard plate on with my license number.
Good luck
Got a whole new plate $20 from plate and new registration, old number has nothing to do with my bike anymore.
Thanks guys
Also try the plastic plate screws they tend to not vibrate loose as often. I switched to those after I lost several of the metal ones.
ya i figured I was going to get those bolts with the nylon threaded nuts
I lost my plate twice...
the first time I searched, and searched, but wasn't able to find it, so I went to the RMV, explained my situation and they have a standard procedure that reports the old plate as "lost/stolen", so it is not registered to your bike anymore...$20, a new plate, new inspection, and a new registration, I was back on the road
the second time, it fell off with my new mount, but the police found it, matched the reg. w' the address, and returned it
after hearing my chain make an awful amount of noise, I found the old plate wedged between the swingarm and the chain
needless to say, all of my more recent plate mounts have been tried and true...secured and checked frequently
Use Zip Ties instead of bolts...
