    lowsided the SV

So I lowsided my 08 SV650s on the way to work today. I get about 5 minutes down the road and go to take a turn. Get halfway through and as I roll on the back tire spins and the bike shoots out from under me.

If anyone has any parts I'd definitely be interested. I need:

    Left hand clip-on
    Upper fairing (dark blue)
    Clutch lever

PM me if you have anything.

    Thanks

yeah. my guess is cold tires. I banged my knee of a granite curb pretty good. SAVED my new Suomy Helmet by keeping the head up. Gloves just have some rash, destroyed my khakis, f'd my Sidi's, tore through the forearm of my Rev'It air. All this and at about 20 mph. I have a good limp going on but other than that I'm all good. Already ordered a new rearset off an 03 sv for $73 shipped.

I hear that, my big fear 1st thing in the morning, my road is 4 miles of nice turns and it takes extreme self control to keep the speed down till the tires warm up.

At least it's just parts, good luck with the fix

the jacket did its job. It didn't go all the way through and the forearm armor did its job. No rash on my arms. It did go right through the mesh though but not through the armor pocket or inner mesh

Holy shit, glad you are ok. Imagine if you were squidding it up without all that gear?
Everytime I see those dumb kids riding with a tanktop sneakers and shorts, I say to myself:
"You boys only got 1 fuck up and that's it!"

That's why I always wear leather, even on hot days.

Glad to hear that you're not seriously hurt.

Did you get that knee checked, make sure no serious damage is done to it. I went down a few months ago and tore the acl at about 10mph. Glad you had your gear on and didn't get injured more. The bike can always be fixed when your better..

It wasn't me I didn't do it (unless you have the negatives to prove it)

That sucks man, I'm glad you're alright. I have some left over parts from my old 650 naked. I have blinkers, mirrors, the big plastic fender crap, reflectors and a D&D exhaust. Let me know if any of that would help.

I don't know about that but I got fucked up last week, broke my left collar and fractured my right femur.

    op

I know you tore through you rev'it air but my rev'it replica jacket, corsa gloves, and gt pants saved my ass in a big way. Oh and thanks to sidi for keeping my left foot attached to the rest of my body.

ya +10000 to Sidi. I'll be snagging some vertigo's over the winter. Almost wore through the side of the left boot though. Shittiest part was sliding into the granite curb.

HighOnStress...I can't remember riding through Waterbury on 17 lately but it could have been me
