i just got back to my place & got cleaned up... figured i'd take a second to post up a sincere thank you post about VIR...

First, i'll make long story short... i binned my bike about 3/4ths of the way through the first day of VIR & thought i was gonna have it ridable for the second day, but it didn't work out as i hoped. I still haven't even started it up since i was in the muuuuud

, but don't have any doubts that'll be back in running order in no time...

with that said, i wanna extend a sincere Thank You to Derek Sinclair, Chris Batelle (sp?), Darrel Honkeyfucker, Peter Kates, Gordo, whoever else i borrowed tools from and helped me work on my bike & all the other NESR members that were on the trip. Each & every one of you guys made my trip an unforgetable one...

BUT... the ones I mentioned deserve a special Thanks for making it happen for me and turning my trip around after it looked like it had shit the bed. If it wasn't for you guys I wouldn't have gotten there, wouldn't have gotten back & wouldn't have enjoyed myself nearly as much as I did... It woulda ended early in a very sour note. What you guys did for me, Degs, Chris & Darrel especially, I'll never forget...

There's really nothing more I can say but Thank You... It'll never be forgotten.

Yeah, the bike's an easy fix. I should have a set of clip-ons w/in a week & i'm probably gonna leave it at that. My leg should heal up just fine... looks bad right now but i'm walkin just fine.

Sorry to be reading this post about your fall, but at least your walking it off. I can relate, unfortuneately my bike did not survive that highside from turn 4 in October.
BUT I got new bike and all ya can do is live and learn I guess,right?
Hope your recovery is quick.

thanks bro... mine wasn't nearly as bad as your highside in 4 if i recall correctly... no trip to the hospital & my bike isn't in bad shape at all, just needs a clip-on & a little buffing.

and yeah, i'm suprisingly alright thanks to my boots.... just some serious bruising on my lower leg/foot & a little on my hip, but i can walk & even run just fine as long as i keep my calf muscle stretched & don't hit the bruise directly... ouch

thank god for those SMX bootaroonies, i'd have a broken leg w/o any med. insurance otherwise
