I am looking to revive a 79 yammie dt100e 2-smoke. The bike Idles ok but as soon as the throttle opens it dies. If the choke is left on it will run but not well enough to have FUN.
I need to find a rebuild kit or a whole new carb.
anyone have a lead or two that will get me fixed up quick?
I checked Ebay and found some jets and a couple similar carbs but was looking for something a bit less $$ and that I could get quicker.

Orrrr.... just get the carb cleaned up nice an shiny. I'm well versed in VM22s, popular mini carb, also a simple one to work on. If it's not leaking everywhere, you should be able to revive it without a rebuild kit. If one is needed, Sudco can supply it.
I could lend a hand. I had a dt250 i dropped a tm28 flat slide on, man did that wake it up!
Sounds like a problem with the floats. If its the original carbs, probably need new floats & seat & carb kit otherwise you'll be doing it again and again.. get the parts i'll do it for ya.
bikebandit.com is about the only place you'll source parts
