So i was wondering what do you guys do to better utuilize your mirrors? i mean when i look in mine, my shoulders block a good portion of the mirrors, but if i move them to point further out, i wont be able to see my blind spots...
I just shift my shoulders. Not much i can do on the gixxer, mirrors are pretty much just along for the ride. Bar ends work but stickout too far for me.

both my Sv650 and my V-strom, first thing I did was modify my mirrors
on the SV, took the stock mirrors right off and replaced with Napoleon bar enn mirrors, stock mirrors required contorting your body like a pretzel to see past your shoulders, who designs these things ? with the Napoleons, I have 360° vision without even moving my body or head, just move my eyeballs inside the sockets
on the V-strom, I ordered some mirror "wideners" that moved the mounting position outward, mirror position is amost as good as the napoleons on my SV, but not quite, I have about a 2 foot blind spot before cars overtaking me leave view in my mirror and become visivle in my periferal vision
IMHO, mirrors and ergonomics are the first adjustments & modifications your should make on a new bike
