I went to get my tire changed yesterday and the guy came out and said that I was missing a spacer?
my right side apparently doesn't even have it at all so it wore the crap out of my left one and the guy told me my wheel could of done some crazy shit and i could of died?SO he refused to put my tire back on so now i have to wait till Wednesday to get the part in and my bike is stuck at the shop
how important are these spacer cause obviously i guess the last person to change my tire didn't put it back![]()
It's what keeps your wheel centered on the axel. Its just a tad bit important.

sometimes, it can be very important..
in the following picture, a friend's r6 has returned to him from a tire change place without the center spacer, which resulted in a significant amount of side load on the ball bearing on one side of the wheel..
one ball from the bearing set was sheered right in half.
this occured halfway through the kangamangus..

The brake would act like a guide so:
you need to ceck everything back there
brakes
bearings
cush hubs
sprocket
