I know, sounds lame... but this would really mean a lot to me if anyone has any information.
A moped that I restored/rebuilt was sold to a close friend out in Brighton, MA. He had it chained to a street post last Tuesday night, (7-5-11). The cops were called, come to find out the street-post is NOT SECURE TO THE GROUND. The cop asked my friend "which post did you have it chained to"... the cop walked over to that post, pulled it from the sidewalk and said... "Yeah, everything chained to this post gets stolen."
Big help.
Anyway, here are some pics.... if you find it on e-bay/craigslist or see it locally, please call me: 978-846-6974, or my friend Max at 978-618-8261.
It's a 78' PUCH MAXI. It has a BLACK expansion chamber on it and a 70cc kit (can't tell from looking at it), it has KENDA tires... some tell-tale signs are that the speedo is integrated into the headlight (non-puch) the handlebars have chop-off marks where a cross-member was, and the front forks are BLACK, which is also not a stock look.
The motor has an engraving on the top that states "Hilltop Motors: Built by Dan Superchi"... The moped IS registered with a 2011 tag (yellow) and says "Doombringer" on the side-cover. The mirrors also say "Kawasaki" on them.
This may be a fleeting chance, but the more eyes out there, the better.
Thank you guys much in advance.

Thanks again.

I'm surprised someone made the effort to steal it, the handle bars aren't skinny enough. Joking aside that DOOMBRINGER logo is pretty awesome and I bet that thing hauls ass.

We GPS'd it with my 220lb ass on it and it hit 50. My buddy max is only about 170 and he nailed 54 on a flat.

I wanna see a pic of the post.
Check out the moped army website, there is a Boston chapter.
