So, I'm on my way in this AM and approaching some merging traffic. The lane I'm in has the right of way and the traffic is heavy and slow, but everyone is being civil and allowing the merging traffic to come on in. The guy in front of me lets his "merger" in... I let mine in. Everyone's behaving... all's good in the hood... except...
Sure enough this lady in an SUV pulls up in the breakdown lane behind me and decides she and I should share a lane. She announces her intentions by placing her left front wheel about 13 inches from my right knee. I hit the horn (and move). She actually swerves TOWARDS me. Now I'm pissed... she's pushing me into the left lane where traffic is zipping past the merge clusterfuck. I hit the horn again and pin the throttle to get as loud as possible, hit the brakes and just get the hell out of the way. Funny thing, though... as soon as she has the lane to herself she goes BACK into the breakdown lane and tries to pass the guy in front of her(F250 - local 537 sticker. Um, yeah... he wasn't having it)
Well, it seems that the Trooper who witnessed the whole thing liked her maneuver just as much as I did
She gets pulled immediately and I pull in with her, roll a safe distance ahead, calmly kill the motor and wait for the trooper to finish with her.
Trooper: "What's up?"
Me: "just wanted to let you know that if you're going to cite her and she ends up contesting I'd be happy to make an appearance."
Trooper: "she said this was all your fault"
Me: (Laugh) "I'm not the slightest bit surprised."
Trooper: "Yeah, I saw the whole thing. If she wants to contest I'll show up myself"
Enjoy those surcharge points, princess.

Who says there's never a cop there when ya need one?![]()
Booya!
Had to say it.
Glad it didn't end up being a lane fight with the hard parts...there is justice, hope she contests and gets bent over!

Can you believe the audacity - it was all YOUR fault??? I guess it goes to show it's better to keep your cool than being an asshole like me - I would've done something stupid, the trooper would have seen it and pulled ME over, making her offense much less offensive. I need anger management courses...or some really good porn. Or both.
Glad all the cards fell into place with this one and you didn't get any shit. If he didn't see it and she would have hit somebody - she would have blamed you and then who knows what. Strakalogue - "GRRRrrrrrrrr"

Damn... good thing it wasn't me, I most certainly woulda kicked or punched her car & the cop woulda seen that, to
Glad ya kept your cool, bro. Don't ya just LOVE yourself a nice hot cup of Instant Karma?![]()

stupid twat will squawk to all her twat friends how she was "victimized" and how she was totally innocent. should have asked the cop to taze her.
Good for you Mike. Is nice to finally see one of those creeps get what they deserve.
-Matt
Im glad she got what she deserved
Well - you were where she wanted to be. So, it was your fault. The most important thing in the world is her - you didn't know this? Must have missed the memo...
Amazing - She's so self absorbed - she can't even take responsibility for her own actions. It'll be real funny if she contests it and the cop has the dash cam video...

For every action there is an equal but opposite reaction - and sometimes a scar...
Yeah, the really scary thing is that she actually BELIEVES it was my fault. I learned long ago to never assume the competence, rationality or sanity of anyone you encounter on the road. It's much safer to assume every cage you encounter has an angry, self absorbed half-drunk monkey off it's meds behind the wheel.
A feel good story.![]()
