Can someone get me a AMA bike value

I think thatyou need to be a member inorder to use the "bike Value" section.....
i want to see wha they list for a value on my 86' Honda VFR to see it says
I'm expecting a phone call from the insurence adjuster anytime now..........
The Dealer allready said it round $7k in damages

AAND I have a really strong feelin the isurence compant aint gonna wanna give me more the $1,500-$2000




PS: I probly negleted to to state that I was Hit AGAIN this year by a car. Was on my way to work in AM, pullin out of tool booth and ASSHOLE from Tenn. I guess desides he's gonna do a U-turn as he also pulls from TB....I was in the far left lane allready and never really saw it coming till I was allready pasted to the drivers side door odf a volks. First off remember your bike was far from Mint shape and basically mickey moused from the last crash and you are dealing with an insurance company that will give you the lowest posible amount for you bike.

Sorry Ed But since yours was the first reply. "IT" wasn't what i was lookin to hear..... I knoiw ho wth ebike was and also know how much I worked on it to fix more after stonnerstock. SO ya I was a bit P.O'ed @ your first respones. I have since takin a few "chill pills" and calmed down a bit.

Not getting a lot of sympathy for your bike wreck, are you wasted?

Sucks that some cager scumbag wrecked your bike. I hope you weren't hurt.

Unfortunately, I think some of the other folks who have posted here are right - you will only get NADA value for the bike. Unless you can find some sort of collector value for it, or you have receipts for lots of mods, etc. you spent on it recently, it is the insurance company's right to give you "fair market value", which NADA is the biggest source of.

Do you have an attorney? If you have any injuries, or missed any work, then you are entitled to compensation for all medical bills, missed work, and indeed some money for pain and suffering. If you dont have a good PI lawyer, I would get one. The 1/3 they will charge you will be worth it in the end, as they can usually negotiate a better settlement than you or I could.

By the sounds of what you're telling me, you had insurance this time. Or are you fighting with THEIR insurance company? Either way, they're gonna pick that thing apart and lowball you to death...

The insurance companies GENERALLY go by a few sources of information when coming up with a repair value or replacement value...
