    just got off the phone with Mr. Mud (i was trying to sell him a buell...i failed) looks like he found his bike though and is picking it up tomorrow. i won't spoil the surprise but i'm sure he'll love it.

    WOOOOOOOOOO FUUUUUUUUUUUUCKING WHOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!! I got out of bed at 4am today to drive for 4 hours to somewhere in the middle of Maine. I picked up a mint 2006 SV650S. Red, 7000 miles, looks like it has never seen rain, and came with a few goodies- exhaust, gel seat, rear cowl, rear hugger, TRE, smoked windscreen...

    I spent the afternoon looking for a helmet, finally found one that fits my oddly shaped head at Bettencourts. I usually don't like dealers, but they were great.

    Tomorrow is going to suck. I wish there was some way I could just sleep all day and wake up on Monday to head to the insurance company and registry.

    I'm very happy and very tired right now.

    Yay! Seacoast is also good at fitting weird heads for helmets. I have a long narrow head and helmets tight enough on the sides have always caused me considerable pain. Pat at Seacoast has a bunch of different helmets and we spent a lot of time fitting. She put me in an Arai Profile and I love it.
