sv650-how to determine what gen rim I have?

was given a dark grey rear rim for an SV, looks like my other sv650 rims however says asahi tec 2 while my others say asahi tec 1... does that even matter?
was also told round spoke rim is first gen, which it is...

Rim colors sometimes changed year to year within a generation, but I can't answer your specific question.

sounds like a 1st gen. hard to tell though now that ive looked it up. the axle sizes must be different or something
