So I did another track down in Texas. In the morning a fellow with a brand new zx-10...totally stock.....sets up next to me. He is a nice guy, but you know what I'm thinking here.

Anyway he bumps out of novice into intermediate after two sessons and is absolutely flying for a first timer.

We are BSing during the day and it turns out that he is getting into track days after getting out of land speed stuff.

It was this guy, Charlie.

After doing 259mph the front straight on a stock zx-10 didn't bother him much. It was interesting to hear about the land speed stuff. Actually pretty impressive.

Also an interesting MA connection. RIP DaveO.
